WELCOME TO THE KHONG & JAAFAR GROUP
The Khong & Jaafar Group initially established in 1965 by Mr Khong Chia Soon and Encik Jaafar Wazir, both of whom have since retired, comprises three private limited companies namely, Khong & Jaafar Sdn Bhd, Khong & Jaafar (Real Estate) Sdn Bhd and Khong & Jaafar (Corporate Services) Sdn Bhd. Khong & Jaafar Sdn Bhd is the main company in the Group and undertakes all property valuations (real estate, businesses, intangibles and plant & machinery), property management, property consultancy, property investment advisory, market and feasibility research and studies, litigation support, tenant representation and dispute resolution (expert determination). Khong & Jaafar (Real Estate) Sdn Bhd is solely involved in the practice of estate agency i.e. the acting as agents for the buying, selling or letting of properties for principals and Khong & Jaafar (Corporate Services) Sdn Bhd is involved in real estate services such as research, investment advisory and specialised real estate consultancy work. The authorised paid up capital of the company is RM100,000 and the paid-up capital is RM80,000. The Group is managed by the two main shareholders i.e. Elvin Fernandez (70%) and Rozina binti Shafiei (30%) who are assisted by the Ipoh Branch Manager, Leong Chai Yean and the Advisor, Chee Soo Fong and Penang Branch Manager, Chan Tat Jin. The total staff strength is about 69 made up of 8 registered valuers, 9 qualified valuers, 24 semi-professionals, 21 administrative staff and 7 from Khong & Jaafar (Real Estate) Sdn Bhd.
